A classic cocktail perfect for entertaining on a hot day. The mixture of mint, white rum, sugar, zesty lime and soda water is a sure crowd pleaser! Play with quantities to suit your taste.
Ingredients:
- 60ml Milton Rum Spanish Inspired Silver
- 30ml Lime Juice
- 15ml Sugar Syrup
- Mint
- Top with soda water (Optional)
Sugar syrup:
- Combine 1:1 ratio of caster sugar to water
- Heat, but don’t boil until sugar is dissolved
- Let cool and chill in fridge
Method:
- Combine Milton Rum Spanish Inspired Silver, Lime Juice, Sugar Syrup and some mint leaves in a Collins glass
- Add crushed ice
- Swizzle until well mixed
- Top up with soda water as desired
- Garnish with extra mint leaves
